Hi wonder if anyone can help so a few days ago I washed my bike polished it etc... back in garage coverd

Went to take it for a ride today when I noticed I have like very faint dried chalk stains and it won’t come of I think it’s dried water stains but I got no idea how to get them of I always use the same cleaning soap and polish for years so I don’t think it’s that

I’m using a Oxford rainex new edition cover its pvc and has air vents to stop condensation

If you have a garage roof i suggest using a bike dust cover to prevent sweating marks as using p.v.c./nylon gloves.
Also you should have ventilation front to back in the garage as in air circulation.

I guess but the bike has been in same sort of cover In and out of garage for years got the bike brand new in 2014 never had this problem

Anyway I’m looking to remove the stains ?

it did the same for me on my wheels leaving white caustic marks.

If you can, brush these off and catch them in a bag or similar.

It'll come in very handy if there's a drought - all you need to do is re-hydrate it and - tada! - you've got some water!
