A-n-d.. the problem is.. What?

NOT being (overly!) obtuse, but you are holding a set of bullet connectors, that wont fit in a multi-block... a-n-d wires you are holding are different colours to the ones in the plug....

Go figure....

Get a wiring diagram and find out which one is the 'earth'; which one feeds the brake lamp, and which one the tail.... and either cut the multi-block off and fit female bullets to suit new lamp, or cut the male bullets of new lamp and fit a matching multi-block....

OR put the original back on...

Why did you take it off anyway? I mean.. you buy a retro-styled chinese thing and then start sticking modern LED lamps on it... its a bit like re-painting the Mona-Lisa in a Vivian Westwood frock!

LED's aren't much if any brighter, and if they were you wouldn't be able to see the brake-lamp over the tail... they are however directional so SMIDSY man has even tougher time spotting you, and the only real excuse for them is that they have a very low current draw to save amps from the generator.... which if you ride the thing properly, and maintain the thing properly, ie dont short shift and make motor labour at low revs the whole time, and give it a good thrashing from time to time, while keeping an eye on stiff like the tappets and battery electrolyte, and replace the battery when it's past its best, and or even give it a top-up charge from tome to time.... shouldn't really be a 'problem'... engine has a generator sized to make enough amps to power the electric equipment fitted as standard.....

So what do you think you are getting fort the exercise, a-n-d one has to ask, if you are vexed by the simple conundrum of different connectors on the non-standard lamp.... IS this really a job you have the where-withall to be tackling to start with?!

Or am I missing something in the picture you posted instead of words describing your actual problem?

Tef's posts clearly disprove this Very Happy

Ah yes, but as they say, "a picture is worth a thousand words..." it would still have been cheaper to actually type what his problem is!!!
