Simple question: do you want to kick Corbyn in the ballots and vote for somebody else in the local election?
Disclosure: I can't even wait for 3rd of May to vote Lib-dem.

I have no local election where I live, I live in a liberal run area and they are going full steam ahead to try and multiculti
it up into another depressing dive like London. Last local elections there was no Tory candidate. It's daft middle class married
women round here that keep voting the libs in, in 20years time when their kids kids can't get a school place, or a doctors
appointment, they will blame everybody but themselves for that. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

No elections anywhere near where I live. I'm not even sure why only some areas are having a vote.
I see the only local authority Mayoral elections in London should be nice and balanced.
Quote: | Mayoral elections
Mayoral elections are taking place in:
Hackney
Lewisham
Newham
Tower Hamlets
Watford |
In fact, the only councils in this election seem to be mainly Labour ones.

Quote: | Seats held prior to the election
According to a BBC News estimate, taking into account boundary changes, the major political parties are effectively defending the following 'notional' numbers of council seats on election day:
Labour Party – 2,278 seats
Conservative Party – 1,365 seats
Liberal Democrats – 462 seats
UK Independence Party – 126 seats
Greens – 31 seats |

I'm voting Tory. Although it's a by product of the candidate. I'd vote for him no matter what party he stood for, except Labour, as the council is bent as fuck due to the stranglehold 'Labour' have.
Vote for the person, not the party. ____________________ Mpd72: I can categorically say i’m Brighter than that, no matter how I come across on here.

Wouldn't affect him anyway, with the amount of tax fiddling he's doing. ____________________ Mpd72: I can categorically say i’m Brighter than that, no matter how I come across on here.

Wrong.
Basic rate tax payers paid no personal tax on dividends before this change. They were taxed at corporate level only.
The new setup now charges 7.5% to basic rate tax payers (higher rate is 30% plus)on dividends initially over £5K a year, now lowered to only £2K a year (so are now also grabbing an additional minimum of over over £220 on top of last years increase) .
As a lower rate earner on an average income, I now get taxed twice no matter how I do it. Low salary and dividend top ups cost me as both a company via corp tax and personally via dividend tax. If I go PAYE for the whole lump with no dividends, I pay tax as an employer and an employee.
I remember the vitriol in the news about the NI changes for self employed, which were proposed at the same time. It was going to cost an extra £80 a year per person. The outrage was so high, it got stopped.
Nobody mentioned the hundreds of thousands of honest, correct tax paying, one man bands like me who are now thousands worse off each year, even on an average income.
That's how this government works. Bleed he easy picking fruit dry to pay more tax, to make up for the growing numbers of Uk and EU citizens, too lazy or feckless to work over 16 hours a week, and/or earn enough to actually pay tax.
Someone has to pick up the bill and it seems it's low to average earners like me, who've been chosen. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

Dividends have always been taxed twice.
It never used to affect basic rate taxpayers, sure, but higher and additional rate taxpayers have always paid CT from TheirCo Ltd and income tax as individuals.
Arguably a basic rate taxpayer used to have their divis taxed too, at an effective rate of 0%
