Honda NSR 125 starting problem

I have had trouble for a while with my bike when I go to start it, it’s like a clacking noise and sounds unhealthy clonking but then turns over, recently it hasn’t wanted to start just a pinging noise but now I try there is nothing other than a click from my starter relay! It’s pretty frustrating! Iv tried doing a quick couple hour charge on the battery but it was exactly the same any help???? Thanks!!!

Try jump leads or a good donor battery.

Starter motors are prone to failure on them. Make sure the battery is good first, then look for a second hand starter motor.

Try bumping it off to rule out piston/barrel problems first maybe the best bet, before you dash out buying parts that may not be needed.
