Thanks to carole nash insurance, I’m currently off the road.

I’ll add now that it’s mainly my own fault, but I have to moan.

For many years, I’ve had several bikes insured with #carolenash on a courier multi Bike policy.
£430 or thereabouts every year and this year £1400 and a bit.

Fuckety fuck

I’m within my rights to ignore other options.
Especially as they don’t suit me.

I had 3 bikes covered on one policy. One of those is a monkey Bike that most other places won’t insure at all and the policy also had full European breakdown cover and adding another Bike was never more than £35

Carole Nash have always been expensive, decent insurance and the extras they throw in are nice, but always expensive and not competitive at all, any time renewal has come up the price has always been massive, and when I question it with them they fob me off with a generic scripted answer of "Ah yea, but you see, Carole Nash come with all these benefits like Legal Expenses, and Any Bike cover, and Breakdown cover as standard, so yes we are more expensive."

And then I change to a cheaper insurer and speak to CN again next year when I get the "new policy" discount and it ends up cheaper again. Rolling Eyes

Whenever the cnuts hike their prices it's time to pull your sticks out and fcuk off to somewhere the sun is brighter.

I do not even give them the courtesy of asking 'Y Uz so dear?' now.

If they can't get their donkey head around the idea of the market then they can go to the wall.

I have maximum NCD on three bikes and a car. They shag me on every premium every year.
I am not making the claims so why am I asked to pay for them?

Here is my message to any of you Insurance Bastirts reading this.

Chase the cnuts who make the claims
And not us poor wankers who pay your gains. Shocked

Usually, the renewal has been similar to previous years. Only once I’ve had to call to have a chat about the renewal cost.

I’ve been with them for years because courier use prices are quite often a bit silly but they were acceptable and suited my needs.
I’ll likely insure one pan euro for courier use, monkey Bike sdp and sell the other pan.

Hold on.. you've accrued almost 1000 penalty points in a year?!?!
Even if you mean £1 a month, per point.... a £1000 increase would be about £80 a month... auto-ban at 12-points, how the heck you still got a licence?!?!?
Something doesn't quite add up here...

I think you need to explain a bit more on WHY the massive increase and who is the actual insurance company. I've got the CU now Aviva courier insurance myself,

This time I have been pleasantly surprised.

Bikesure emailed me a renewal so obvs I approached the other usual comparisons ... Bikesure renewal was the cheapest.

You sirs have done me well on this one.

Yes. I bolloxed. Nearly £100 per point increase.

I’ve got 12 points.

Could you make your question more concise tef?

I have trouble understanding if there are less than 3000 words.

Anyway, they’ve come back to me after 24hrs of me whining.

Revised renewal for the 3 bikes. Courier use, euro breakdown. 40,000 miles per year. (Down from 60,000) £568.

It’s complex.

Renewal £430 + points = £1400 + whining and moaning = £568

Thank you very much.

Isn't 12 points a disqualification?

Not necessarily, if you plead exceptional hardship you can avoid disqualification.

Yes; it helps if you've got a job that requires it and you spend on all your hard earned cash on a kitten hospice.

But as you can see, it's still going to hit your insurance.

how did you rack up so many points so quickly before realising you were going to get stung for it? Have they stopped painting speed cameras luminous yellow round your area?
