ICLOUD LOCK

OK, I bought from eBay (a cash convertors), a cheap iPhone 5 which was not charging or turning on, £20 delivered. Got the phone all good. Also bought cheap battery kit as the iPhone was not charging (as per description). Upon changing battery it booted! but asked for a password did a hard reset through iTunes and now it appears it's iCloud locked. I do have the option of returning phone at my expense and losing out postage and packaging and being stuck with a battery that is no pointless as I have no iPhone.

Does anyone know a way around this? (iCloud lock).

Take it down the phone repair shop at your local market, explain situation, hand over a tenner.
