A workmate did. I dropped his brand new (like, fresh from the showroom) Bandit, then he dropped it, repeatedly, on both sides. A couple of years later, he took out excess cover and no claims protection, then claimed for the lot as a single claim.
He got a shiny repaired bike, and wasn't out of pocket more than the cost of the excess cover (about £30, I believe) and the hike from having made an at fault claim (but not the loss of NCD).
If that doesn't troll arry into coming back from the grave, I don't know what will. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
