In the usual dilemma of hunting down a cheap London commuter hack, and I'm all confused by the Honda CBF500 (which my wife has a 2006 one).

I had dismissed it as non-compliant, being carbs and pre-2007. Most of web, wikipedia etc also reckons it's only Euro-2.

But, ULEZ checker reckons its not affected by ULEZ (https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/ultra-low-emission-zone/vrm-checker-ulez). Bit odd.

And also I know if was on sale until 2008, Hayne's book covers '03- '08. Seen a few 2008 models on ebay too. Were these just late registrations?

What's the deal here?

The CBF500 is a Euro 3, mate of mine has a 2006 model.

I have a 2007 but it was registered in 2008 so I'm just fine.

Check your V5 logbook.

Still broken, any 53 plate onwards comes back as fine.
