Well, I expect that'll be gone by the morning, now that everyone knows. Laughing

I used to know that guy when I was growing up.

According to his Facebook it's made people show down in a speeding/accident hotspot, which I guess is fair.

What, the change of speed limit sign?

Oddly, in the Google Streetview images that Ste linked that road in 2009 was 30 mph all along there - it is unusual for the speed limit to have been raised on a rural road.

Errr, there's a 40mph sign that the camera is pointing at.

Sounds more like he's just trying to lower a 40mph limit to 30mph, because he's upset when he can hear traffic in his garden.

I'm not sure what point your are making there.

We lived on a main road in a tiny village.
It had traffic calming due to kids etc.
The traffic noise was horrendous. But it hadn't always been like that.
Only when traffic on the dual carriage way got so busy our road became a Rat Run.
Murder when I was on offs and not put my pit until after 9.
But I think anyone buying a house on a main road knows what to expect. Or should know. 😂
