I'm looking at a Mk2 hand held.
Reviews are favourable in general.
Anyone got experience of Gtech stuff?

Grandmother had the air ram. Battery packed up after 3 months, new one was sent.
Second battery packed up after a matter of weeks.

Full new unit was sent.

She bought a Dyson, has not opened the replacement gtech.

I bought it for my boat. Wifie saw it, tried it out and promptly gave our old corded Dyson to our eldest daughter and a crappy B&D dustbuster to me for the boat Evil or Very Mad

I got a Shark ... they're mega. Got the one that splits up into a million pieces so it can be used as a normal vac, or you can just carry the motor around which makes doing the stairs a doddle.

Saved myself 70 quid by not going cordless. The cord is long enough to be plugged in at the bottom of the stairs and get to the back of the bedroom!

Went for the gtech hand held and the upright air ram.
Managed to get both from shpock from a bloke around the corner from me for £150.
Tried out the hand held on the carpet in the back of the car, superb.
The only thing about the upright air ram is that it tends to struggle on a shaggy rug we have.
Other than that it's a very good machine.
