Is there something that offers good leg protection, but can be put on/off easily while still on the street?
I came to this after a few recent rides - I drove on motorways and London about 160 miles per day, starting my ride one day at +5 in the morning and coming back in the evening when it was +22. So, I was slightly freezing (tolerable though) in my Rukka gear, but then sweating in London in the afternoon until I hit motorway
I played with wicking clothes today - wore Lowe Alpine wicking shirt over my Rukka jacket and started sweating once I got off the bike and started walking around. And the temperature was only around +20.
I have PantaFast, they are okeyish at low speed in towns, but they don’t offer good protection for motorways nor well built.
Thanks

"owe Alpine wicking shirt over my Rukka jacket"

Try putting the wicking shirt under your jacket. Wink

Leaving the obvious <assless-chaps.png> aside, and assuming serious / not Arcane, then kevlar jeans, and throw some waterproof over-trousers under - I mean, over them until it warms up a bit.

+1

You can try Klim Adventure Rally Air Pants on top of them you put Klim Gore-Tex Over-Shell Pants they have full-leg zippers. Means the over-shell pants can be removed/added when needed fast on the street.

The air mesh pants below have the armour and the protection.

Thanks - I didn’t know they are called full zip off mesh trousers. Now I found a few on Internet. Do they let a lot of air? I kept sweating at +20 on my recent London ride
