I got T31s for the price of T30s. Hopefully good - I didn't really like the Metzler standards and they needed changing before my annual trip. Does mean a slightly different size front though.

As a pleasing (concerning?) side effect, as soon as I bought the bike the front brakes were squealing. I took it back and they tried to tell me it was wear and tear and that it would cost me to sort. Then they apparently serviced and cleaned the brakes but it didn't go. Then fed me a line about bedding them in etc. As it turns out, once I got the tyres changed and the wheel came off and back on, noise has gone.

Which might mean that something was not quite right ...
