As I understand it; they (police and CPS) have six months to pass the information to the courts.

So, there's both still time for that and I presume for them to request their bribe.

And in some cases it will happen a couple of days before six months (with the courts issuing a summons after).

Hopefully you've been lucky, they got mixed up and someone ticked the 'speed awareness' box for both of them or something.

so still a little while to go yet.
i sent back the NIP via recorded delivery.
So i know when and who singed for the paper work.

i will wait another 2 months for the request for dosh money.

Cool story bro and all that:

My mate got caught at 92 on the M62 on the way home from taking me for my new bike. £100 and 3 points. I think they were super lenient with that!

Someone on here many years ago got stopped by a police car that had previously radar'd them at 119mph while undertaking a car on the M4.
They were then chased, semi-oblivious to the police car behind them for just over 10 miles, where they'd slowed after catching up with the person they were late to meet. With the policemen suggesting that they had 140mph on their speedo and the bike was getting away from them through traffic and also suggesting the head light and tyres weren't legal (they were). Verbal NIP was for dangerous driving due to undertaking at speed when radar'd.

Nothing ever came of it for one reason or another.

But in other cases the CPS has presented to the courts on the last possible date.
