Hi

I made a post about this previously however I didn't want to reply to a month old post (+ I didn't have a multimeter then) I'm still learning how to use it so if any replies you could put what setting I'm supposed to have it on, that would be a huge help Very Happy Very Happy

I've had a CBR 125 for about a month, the fuel gauge, temperature gauge have never worked. In addition, the FI light is always on. The fuel gauge is stuck in the 3/4 position and the temperature gauge is off (all the way to the left). Also, the radiator fan is always on.

I've had the fuel gauge sending unit out and tested that with the multimeter and it shows the correct resistance according to the manual. I can't seem to figure out how to test the temperature gauge, the manual isn't very helpful.

I initially thought that it was a problem with the ECU of some kind. I left the bike to idle with the kick stand down and I think the FI light is supposed to flash, but it just stays on all the time no matter what.

Could it be the ECU? If the ECU doesn't know what temperature the bike is, surely it should keep the fan on all the time so it doesn't overheat? Any ideas?
