So I admit it, I love my bike. But it's not perfect. I'm not 100% keen on the 2007 fairing style... I do prefer the split headlight design on newer models...

But without buying a newer bike... How hard is it to put a more recent fairing design on this older bike? I assume not all the mount screw places will match, but is it doable?

Or does anyone know any kits for my year of bike?

Chinese made race fairing off eBay perhaps, obviously no lights so probably not what you want.

Way more hassle than it's worth IMO. It would also likely require changing the instrument panel. Even used faiirings are really expensive. You'd be better just buying a newer model.

Move to Sweden and you can marry it.

I agree with the above. The cost to do it would be a significant fraction of the value of your bike, while reducing that value (because it's been down the road, don't give me that, mate).

Sounds like you've got a good excuse to buy a newer one.

By which I mean a Fireblade.
