My house is full of scrap metal and its become a bit ridiculous. I've held onto a lot of stuff with the mindset of it being worth a few quid but I'll never actually get around to selling it with the faff of ebay and sending it off so I've decided I'm probably best just getting my local bike breaker to come and take the lot for what I imagine will be, a very small amount of money.

So I may as well see if any of it is worth anything to BCF first on the provision that
-you pick up at minimum hassle to me. I may consider doing one post run for small bits.
-you bear in mind this is all stuff thats been sat for ages and some wasn't in the best condition to start with.
-I am poor as shit so although this is free, consider donating if its worth a lot to you and you're less poor than me.

So the stuff:
RXS100, complete, not running, was running with a MOT when I picked it up about 3 or 4 years ago, since then has been sat in the open

CB450DX, in bits, terrible brazilian copy of a terrible bike, was a non runner when I bught it many years ago, since has been dissasembled and some bits have been painted, engine and carbs are complete and quite nice looking so could be used by somone who wants to learn engines or turning into some hipster trash furniture

FZR600R in bits, no fairings, was running, has had some bits - fairings etc sold in past. Stainless steel delkevic exhaust.

NSR125(F?) in bits, plastics are here but not in brilliant nick, tabs broken off, engine is in bits, I forget why. missing wheels but otherwise complete.

2 x XT350s in bits, one was utter shit, the other one may of also been I never really looked at it. Theres a project thread somewhere.

random bits:
R6 shock, brand new
2 x ZXR400 front forks + 1 front wheel
1 x YZF750 front forks with lots of pitting

In Coventry I would prefer people took full bikes rather than the odd bit so I'm not left with a load of even more worthless crap. Post here rather than PMing what you want so I dont have to have 4 different conversations. I will look for model numbers and give better descriptions, maybe even photos if there's interest in stuff.

When I read the thread title, I thought this thread was going to be about a BCFer having a poo!
How tame BCF has become Laughing

Thanks Mr Tristan, but I have enough of my own ‘projects ‘.
Nice to see someone trying to help others Thumbs Up

Nice to offer these things on here, and it's definitely good to cut down on the amount of bikes. I went from 3 bikes or something, down to 1. That way I can focus on having 1 good bike, and not waste my time and money with any others, while having room to work.

You say you're not well off though. Could you stick a bike up on ebay with 99p start auction, no reserve?

If you cba with ebay, maybe just stick 1 or 2 items up a week, and things should start trickling out.

If you want the right money for them, list them for a BIN price, then drop it each relist or when you feel it's not selling.

As I'll be not far away at my lads in Rugby from Sunday I had a rush of blood "Oooh much tinkering, plenty cheapness, rat bike time!"
But calmed down now
I've gone to one bike only as well and really struggle not to break my vows at times.

I'd bung em on Gumtree with plenty of the usual 'runs perfick' 'only needs' etc as job lots/ spares repair.
I bet you'll get takers and make a few quid if the prices asked for rusty shite on Ebay are anything to go by.

What year is the R6 shock?

May also be interested in the FZR600R, thats the 4JH correct? I'd have too have a think if it would be any use to me or not.

oops missed the pm bit anyhoo.... basically I would give you between £250-500 for the lot as a rough guesstimate without seeing any of it, possibly more depending on seeing it all.

3-4 years uncovered is enough to turn a bike into a pile of scrap Neutral

Its an RXS. It would have been ridden by many younglings which left it in the rain. Spokes and chain are probably homo, the rest will be standard Jap.

Cheers for replies gents. I’ll go first come first served to be fair
Also remembered I’ve actually sold a fair amount of the fzr to the point it’s probably best just to describe it as an fzr engine now.

To answer questions, the rxs is rusty as shit. I’ll try and get a picture. The fzr is a 4jh and I’ll look at the shock model later. Stoney I’ve PMed you back with my availability.

If the XTs are still going asking, I'm in Birmingham and have a trailer, so could happily relieve you of them.
