It's almost every day now that I see scooters drive by with balaclavas 2 up, passenger no helmet etc. Surely they're either into drugs, theft or robbery. They're about on the estate doing wheelies, riding on the grass, through the park etc.

When will politicians and the police need crack down on this.Thankfully my bike is cheap and shit, but I would like a new one. But in London is anything safe?

Police put themselves at personal risk of prosecution if they pursue motorscooters, doubly so if they spazz a balaclava boi.

Politicians are working on it very slowly but it'll be years before any changes to the law, and then years after that before the test cases filter through the courts and police behaviour changes.

In the meantime, the current problem lies with the courts, both magistrate and grown up. As opined elsewhere, our judiciary are a law unto themselves: self appointing, unaccountable outwith their cabal, and with swingeing powers to bang us up on a whim (Saint Tommy) or in this case to operate a revolving door policy until the poor little dears eventually murder a prole, or mug someone who actually matters.

Remind me who sets the sentencing guidelines?

Michael Mcintyre has just been baklaffed for his Rolex.

In Englandwalesshire? The unelected, unaccountable Sentencing Council.

The fact that Alison Saunders is a member pretty much sums up the problem. Hideously gammon, plus Dr Alpa Parmar "who specialises in the intersections of race and criminal justice" working on #race #policing #gender and #migration. But, of course.

The guys worth 25million apparently, which in turns leads me to question the intelligence of the many 1000's of people
who buy the books, dvds and go to the shows enough so to make him that rich. He should have rotten fruit thrown at
him IMO. Looks like he's met a couple of bad apples now. Boom-boom.

Now that's comedy.

Now he knows how all the people who've bought his books, DVDs or tickets to his shows felt.

But that's OK. Why should he have a Rolex and not the poor hard done by moped riders.

So if the government gave everyone Rolex's, it would cut crime. Cool Thumbs Up

In seriousness, the more celebrities/politicians/important Rolling Eyes people get mugged the better. It might make things change faster.

That was my thinking as well Neutral even though a delivery rider getting his bike stolen probably (financially) impacts the individual more. I'm sure McIntyre has a collection of watches and will probably pay cash for a new window...

Judges would be the prime candidates.

Personally I think being mugged or burgled should be a pre-requisite for becoming a judge.

For all we know he might have a stash of brave aids under the seat, sharp stabby shape ones, and ones with nice snug palm fit with a trigger on the front.

I wonder how long it'll take in the lawless jungle London has become, before we hear a news story of some poor little non helmet wearing angles that were lurred down a dark Street by nasty evil bikers, and then chopped up and mashed to red slop by these horrific evil monsters who'd all just happened to have had bikes stolen or taken by force, by similar looking little angelic youths.

Sooner than later I hope.

When it becomes obvious vigilantes have formed because the police have lost any public trust it will either force the police/government to do something to redress OR it will rapidly descend into chaos as the police try harder to arrest vigilantes than the crime boys.

Diane for London mayor Thumbs Up Lets really fuck the place up. Cool

Bwhahahahah. 0-60 in under 5 seconds. And those tyres look like they will be smashing 'off road'.
They've already got everything they need in every patrol car, a front bumper. I bet Michael Mcintyre is
sleeping much sounder knowing this crack team is on patrol. Rolling Eyes

We, Gov.com (Urged on by the Yoorohkrats of the Old Europe we do not belong to.) will ban all Powered Two Wheelers.

The legislation is already in the pipeline and only a matter of printing the White Papers (or somefing). Init.

The other solution is to Ban Lahndahners from wearing Clalabavas.

One of those 800cc F700GS 650cc bikes. Rolling Eyes

Take one of them off road on those tyres and you will indeed be smashing it.

Fair shake though, they are actually decent urban tarmac bikes.

Met Police first showed of the all new BMW Lightweight GS-P BMW F700 bikes in October last year.

The real question is how many have been bikelifed so far? Laughing
