Anyone know where i can get some of these?

I only ride for "fun" so really even if i use 2/3 a ride out the extra expense is negligible.

Much better than smudging the ever increasing large bugs over my visor and having shit vision for half the ride.

I would also be after these, Although I ride a lot there are certain rides where the bugs really are an issue.

I tend to find that a really dark visor solves the problem. That way you can't see the bugs.

But otherwise, 10 for £11 on ebay - helmet specific.

You need a visor that's got tear off posts.

Like this: https://www.xlmoto.co.uk/hjc-hj-20mis-17-fg-st-visor-pinlock-and-tear-off-ready

That looks like what you're needing. Give them or somewhere like thevisorshop.com a call to see if they can sort you out with a suitable visor and tear offs. Thumbs Up

Tear offs are for racing.

Their primary function is to remove oil and rubber from the visor, not bugs.

In the real world, just give the visor a clean before you put it on in the morning, and it'll be fine for the day.

If you happen to be riding all day, in Scotland, at the height of midge season, just give the visor a clean when you stop for fuel. Although, I've ridden all day, in Scotland, at the height of midge season and still didn't need to clean my visor.

In addition, a pit lane speed limiter, lever guards and a truck full of IT equipment are also things that you do not require for pootling around your local B roads... Laughing

Simply put, you need to buy a new visor for your lid with tear off posts. Here is an example that fits Shoei helmets:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SHOEI-CWF-1-GENUINE-RACE-VISORS-WITH-TEAR-OFF-POSTS-X-SPIRIT-2-XR1100-HELMETS/323285453896?epid=1562351781&hash=item4b45508c48:m:mJnRS-JeroQmV4pwgOjg-rQ

Without the posts, you can't attach the tear off strips.

Or you can install your own pins if you've got a visor that has the post holes:

Off Topic. Tut Tut

Rainpal® is a more permanent fix and negates any futher need or requirements for phaphery in visor management.

Bugpal® is even MORE suited to this application.

Or for track-days use Racepal®. Defeats Bugs, Rubber, Oil and any cnuts who get in front of you.

I’m glad someone raised the litter issue, it was asked on MotoGP a little while back what happens to theirs and the commentators said they expect someone goes and collects them all.

They're made of cellulose so disintegrate when it rains.

Seriously...

Where would you stand legally on the littering front if they are biodegradable do you think?
