We are living longer than we used to, just look at the historical data.

Arguing over projections is moronic in the extreme.

How much of that is the medical industry's ability to keep vegetables and ancients alive well past their sell by date.

I'm arguing over the fact you're wrong.

Your chart was 10 years out of date. Life expectancy over the last couple of years is once again falling. Look it up if you can't be arsed to believe the link I posted.

Projections are not factual.
We are living longer than we have ever done previously.
Look at historical data, that's actual trustworthy numbers, projections are not. The chart I posted shows an increase since the 1960's, one that will obviously continue, but simpletons think we are being poisoned.

I'm under the impression that the actual average life span is starting to fall slightly, as from a couple of years ago.

You're basing your opinion that we are not living longer than ever before on a projection that we might not?
We are living longer than we have ever lived, as an overall statistic.
Sure there may be a couple of years here and there that show minor falls, but as a trend, no, it's rising.

So that's a "no" then....

You admit it might be falling, but only see it as a 2 year blip. Righto.

So, I'll ask again, is it currently rising or falling?

We are living longer than we ever were before in history.
You are a tiresome cretin, please feel free to go away.

But we're living longer than ever because you say so?

No, because there has been one dip in decades, you moron, which doesn't equate to us all living shorter lives than we did in the 80's now does it?
At least read your own sources and don't blame me that you can't use a spreadsheet. The reason they exist is so that you can quickly collaborate data. One page or 10000, you can search for the data you need in seconds.

Over the last couple of years, life expectancy in the UK has peaked and is now falling, true or false?

You are confusing yourself, go take a nap.

Projections/expectancy are not the same as actual numbers.
It's a fact that people are living longer than they did in the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Sure there will be a few dips along the way, but no, we are living longer than ever and all historical data points to us carrying on the trend. 2 years over decades do not translate to a panic, no matter how you dress it. Even with the slight downturn in numbers (and it is slight), we are still living longer.

I resort to calling you a moron, as you are displaying signs of being one.
Please stop.

More importantly, I want to know why the tailored advert screen at the bottom of this thread wants me to buy Marigold rubber gloves and Osram light bulbs? Am I missing something? Shocked
