An attempt to change the colour of the bike to avoid detection by a uneducated individual?

A follow up local news article was published recently about a stolen Ford RS that had had its wheels spray painted by the t-leafs inbetween being stolen and involved in a major crash.

They're actually spending money on their stolen items now? Shocked

Someone told them red ones go faster?

Theiving shitebags have always done stuff like that.

They used to rip all the plastics and badges off them and scratch up the paintwork in the knowledge the police are looking for a particular colour and make of bike and are unlikely to recognise it. A blow over with a rattle can seems quicker and easier.

I've seen worse paint jobs...
