I get back from 2 weeks at the TT and my car has shit the bed. The front drivers side Spring decided to snap while I was away, asside from my spring compressors not being manly enough to handle compressing the new spring(new ones arrive tomorrow).

The Dash is Fubar, anyone have any idea how to fix it?

Battery dipped out or an earth short? I had that with a fiat, if the battery wasn't fully charged it would go haywire.

My ex's dash went crazy on her Peugeot 206 and I was thinking massive expense, new dash etc.

However, it was just as simple as buying a new battery. My theory is that the dash has probably got a ton of voltage regulators in it, that spasm if the 12v feed is disrupted too much. When the 12v feed is restored, the dash is fine.

Seems it's not just an issue with Peugeots.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
