Hi everyone,

Think this is my first post here but Ive been lurking for quite some time! Haven't been able to find anything on here that solved my problem, so hoping someone might be able to shed some light here Razz

So I'm about halfway through converting 1994 cg125br-k into a sort of brat/tracker thing.

Engine was running rough at idle, so after digging on here I decided it was a points/timing issue. So I got myself a flywheel puller, checked the stator (which seems fine) and took a bit of wet and dry to the points, reset the timing to the recommended setting (0.3-0.4mm) and kicked it over, and no spark! At all. Now I'm confused and have had the flywheel off and on a hundred times, reset the points over and over and still getting nowhere. Not even a shock when I put my finger on the spark plug and kick it. This has really come out of nowhere as the bike is sorn while I'm doing it up and was starting first kick before this (if idling a little rough)

Things I've tried already/notes:

- recently replaced rectifier for new one, this appears to be fine
- recently replaced ignition coil
- all other electricals work fine (signals, horn etc. Although headlight needs engine to switch on)
- battery is charged and reads 12.1v
