Nsr 125 help to restart

Well lads.
I've just pulled my bike out of the shed after 6/7years of laying up.
Batteries dead got a small charge on it and tried to kick-start but no joy.
Any tips on what to do to to get it fired up again? Cheers

After that timescale, the carb will be blocked to feck. If you're getting a spake at the plug, I'd be whipping the carb off, stripping it, removing and cleaning all jets and cleaning all passageways.

I've just recommissioned an NSR125. The carb was badly blocked from the crap left over from evaporated fuel.
I stripped and ultrasonically cleaned it in a little £20 Maplins ultrasonic cleaner, put it back on and it fires first time and runs great now.
