The nut inside the tank has striped so I can’t tighten up my fuel tap and it’s leaking.

Bike is a gsx 750 inazuma if it makes any difference . Is there any easy fix ?

Only thing I can even think to do is to try re thread it ?

Thanks

Seems reasonable.. If it's M6 then go M7 - grease your TAP well. Depending on the condition of its mate you could do that one too.

Shove a setscrew through from the inside, slide the tap over it and use a nylok nut on the outside. If you can't reach to get a long screwdriver/allen bit on the head of it to tighten it down, glue it in place with JB weld.
