If we ignore the price, this seems to be a really good setup - it's light enough that a good proportion of people will be able to easily get it into back yards, up a few steps etc, but has enough power when derestricted to get most places in a city without holding up traffic.
With light weight wheels, a full adult size and an acceptable amount of power and speed, it should be quite fun on trails too.
Front brake is apparently a bit weedy, but I suspect you could swap in a better caliper to fix that, if not just better pads. |

Normally the moped ones with pedals are limited to 250w/15.5mph, but may be 'derestricted' without too much difficulty possibly.
The rules about power are a bit fuzzy and don't necessarily relate to peak power, but what a motor can sustain.
Along thoseish lines...
This comes with a v5 on a Q plate and can be folded up and carried away (so best to do so yourself!):

I'm selling for significantly less than the price of one of the bikes linked above .
1000w; It's not mega fast, but it's low enough geared that most people have a good bit of a grin first time they accelerate on it. (That or they're scared it's about to fold in half while riding! ) |
