Does anyone know of any insurers who will let you use your motorcycle no claims bonus on a car policy? I think most insurers don't accept this.

Anyone know otherwise?

I once had Adrian Flux "take into account" that I had been riding "a ninja" for years when I was insuring my old celica.

I didn't tell them I rode a "ninja", I said ZZR600. Knocked a bit off once upon a time.

Bikesure and Carole Nash (probably others as well) do bike and car combined insurance. Maybe they will do some sort of common NCD but that is just speculation on my part. Never had it from them.

I transferred 8 years bike no claims to a car policy when I sold my bike, I'm sure it was either direct line or aviva who accepted it.
If you search the forum I probably posted it somewhere.

EDIT: It was Direct Line Thumbs Up

Are you planning on insuring the bike as well?

As far as I know you can only use 1 set of no claims on a single policy, so if you use your bike NCD on a car, then you go back to 0 for the bike.

When I had multiple bikes, I had seperate NCD counts for different policies.

There have been many threads about using bike NCB for car insurance so do a search and you will be rewarded.

I'm sure Tesco do as well, so long as you're over 21, otherwise you have to have a black box.

Since you're switching from a bike to a car, why not ask on CarChatForums.com?

You never really loved us. Sad
