I've got my self a 1989 dt 50 mx I had it running when i got it but it was on 10 year+ old oil so i thought it would be wise to get it new oil. now I've drained it and gone to fill it up to find the dip stick is missing. Does anyone have any idea how much to fill it up with or where to get a new one?

If all else fails I guess I will have to make one, as the manual does give specifications for the dip stick.

The manual will give you a quantity n ml or cl. Put that much in.

unfortunately the Haynes manual i have does not say how much i should put in Sad

Even a 2t needs oil in its gearbox....
