We had problems with quality control. It was also quite noisy and only worked in one direction.

I'm so glad this product exists, I had no way of cleaning my visor before this as there were no other liquids in existence that can be used to wash things

They still haven't caught up with oxford on this one. The only good thing they make is their "Visor mate" little squirty bottle with attached sponge/squeegee.

https://images.esellerpro.com/2189/I/181/01/1673-Oxford-Visor-Mate-Helmet%20Visor-Cleaner-800-0.jpg

So near, yet so far. If only they'd thought to attach the cloth to the bottle instead of putting them both seperately in a ziplock bag. Famously easy things to get out of your pocket, open then put away again while stopped at the lights wearing motorcycle gloves...

We're not allowed to discuss a certain product that's a scam® but this thread is a discussion about products which are real. Razz

Could really push our luck by discussing a product known as Rainmate® but that might be a step too far. Laughing

I've not been on here much recently, when did discussing no item in particular that's imaginary become a banable offence?

^^^Nobody mentions ShowerMate® because legal implications.

eg.

Say you are almost certainly a peado and I say on this forum 'Hey Shinigami is a peado'.
Now you won't like this, you would lodge complaints using a solicitor to show how much you are so not a peado.

PS Shinigami is NOT a peado...but he does like to be bummed.

It wouldn't show that though, it would just mean a person could continue being whatever it is they are, but no one could say so. Doesn't seem right.

So long as no one disses nobwipe again I'll keep the solicitors in check.

I do want to buy suitably cheap visor cleaning wet wipes. Previously used poundland pro-drive interior wipes, but stopped when I got new lid, having noticed they might be the cause of the colour fading orange to yellow, although that might just be UV, they do have chemicals..

What is there, and not paying more than a couple quid for a decent quantity.

A pack of Tesco economy wipes works out at 1p each, although I think they've changed the formula because they didn't used to leave any residue. They still work well though.

Didn't someone here make a 'jizzpal' or something sounding like that
which spurted fluids on visors?

It seems to have gone off the board around the same time as Lord Voldemorts (ie he must not be named) device

BikeJet had a bukake button that squirted a load of liquid in your face but nothing's really happened with BikeJet.

I was meant to be getting one in the post for using in video review comparing it to the latest version of NobWipe® but I haven't received anything yet.

Maybe bikers aren't meant to ever have an easy way of cleaning their visors. Mankind is never going to put a visor wiper on a motorcycle lid. Free tearoffs are as good as it's ever going to get and you're never going to have a transparent shaft waving in front of your face.

Oh the humanity. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

It's still about. My 3D printer guy has a massive order, so I am struggling to get time with him to perfect the prototypes.

Will definitely have new ones before the end of summer, and hopefully new marketing and availability for October.

This is the design for the new external reservoir that mounts under the fairing / seat.

The BikeJet nozzle then mounts to the screen or handlebars discretely.

I've never had any problems using a microfibre cloth and generic window cleaner.

I just refill one of these - https://www.evanscycles.com/muc-off-visor-lens-goggle-cleaning-kit-EV229952?lsft=esvt:54908-GOUKE2288866,esvq:,esvadt:999999-0-1219566-1,esvcrea:189743470219,esvplace:,esvd:c,esvtg:pla-309648971678,esvo:EV229952-NA-NA,esvaid:50080&esvt=54908-GOUKE2288866&esvq=&esvadt=999999-0-1219566-1&esvcrea=189743470219&esvplace=&esvd=c&esvtg=pla-309648971678&esvo=EV229952-NA-NA&esvaid=50080&gclid=CjwKCAjw7vraBRBbEiwA4WBOn2zjgRzc7qq8bFqoVEFGEA7Dd9ANH04kW8TserDhpOQ5CwcpKNzf0BoC4p8QAvD_BwE

Well, 25 years ago, it was as Stink suggested, a zip-lock freezer bag some-one had put through a ring binder hole-punch!

It was, curiously one of the more 'useful' gizmo's that I was given to evaluate and market in the wake of the disc-lock; along with, would you believe a 'Talking' alarm.... invented in Tamworth, ISTR....

The miracle of voice on micro-chip, before even MP3 had been invented, it's inventor was sure it aught be a sales smash, but couldn't figure out why no one bought it!

Well, if you had a demonstration, and Jasper Carrot, in browd brumigum, yelled at you, "War-NING, Dis Boik, iz be-ying Stow-LIN!".. after you had stopped laughing... would YOU buy it?

My Auntie, is an ex RSC Actress, who mainly does voice over for cartoons and adverts and talking books and stuff; we suggested he get a 'professional' to do the 'voice' for the thing, "Whoiy? Witys wrung with mi voyce?"... he wasn't convinced...... for a while; then I was yelled at in the street by my other auntie..... "Warning, This Vehicle is Reversing"... it wasn't my other auntie.. it was a Denis Eagle bin lorry! He'd bulked at the price of a real actress, and so had called other Auntie who used to answer the telephone, and thought had a "Weeelie PoSH ack-sint, loik!", and asked her to do it!

Interesting to note that the Oxford 'Wee-Willy' seems to be the "Chrystal" version, I was given to evaluate, as a 'product upgrade'... it had a clear plastic bottle, in 'Crystal' optical plastic like a pop-bottle, rather than the original that was sort of opaque white plastic like a milk-bottle... the innovative feature, supposedly so you could see what was in the bottle, or if it was empty! The conclusion, after much product testing; "But you cant see what's in it ANYWAY, when the bottle's burred in a rubber sleeve with a windscreen wiper blade on the edge.... did not seem to diminish the inventors enthusiasm for it any!
