I nearly got hit head on in the Isle of Man this year when I was there for the TT. Fortunately got it on video:

Still makes me wince when I watch it back Laughing

Stuff that.

Mate of mine went a couple of years on bounce but now does the classic instead for this reason. Said there's just too many dicks riding way beyond their ability.

When I saw that guy come round on the line I thought "not that big a deal". Then it really happened Very Happy

My mate and his lad also go to the classic, for the same reason again.

McGuinness wannabe running wide due to target fixation/lack of talent, pretty irrelevant of course if two became one.
Kudos for the cool head prior.

Yeah I caught up with them but couldn't remember what bike he was on, all I could remember was the first guy was on a red bike so I overtook him and signaled for him to pull over which he did, and his mates did too.

The guy owned up and apologised, not that there's much else he could have done, and I think I just expressed my disbelief at what just happened and told him to slow the fuck down.

The best bit though, after he'd apologised a few more times, we were both happy to be in one piece and parted with a handshake where he said to me "Ride safe." Laughing

F'ck that, what a twat. I saw a similar video a while back (LiveLeak-esque) - resulted in deadedness, so you did well to avoid him.

It's had a load of shares/views on Facebook too and this comment as popped up a fair bit. What people are forgetting is that the camera is on the petrol tank and my head is not. The wall is only about 3 feet tall and I could see over it clearly which is why I anticipated them not making the corner in the first place. The u-turn was perfectly safe.

Good skills and myself probably would have paniced and crashed there, but you do know that avoiding the guy in your lane you almost wiped the 2nd guy in his lane Smile

All in all the best near miss ever Thumbs Up
