Hi all

Any recommendations for a cbr600 f4i rear paddock stand for cleaning/lubing chain etc. Its a 02 plate and cant see anywhere bobbins would fit.

I had a cbr125 before and just used a warrior stand with the cups which go under the swingarm but cant seem to find the f4i version

Cheers
Dom

Try your old one on it. If it's a generic one, it should be fine.

Abba stand or similar. I never get the rear up for cleaning or lube, only tires or jobs that need the wheel out.

Couple squirts of oil, often, on the exposed chain will keep it clean enough.

No centre stand?

What you can do is put a hammer under the swing arm and it's enough to lift the rear wheel off and lube the chain.

no centre stand unfortunately on the f4i, will take a look at the abba stands. this was the first time trying to clean and lube the chain without raising the back wheel and made it pretty difficult and had to keep moving the bike back and forward to expose chain etc

I have an ABBA style stand (NWS brand I think), but I'd never go to the hassle of fitting it to lube the chain.

I'd get yourself a paddock stand.

I have this one, which has a plate that can be flipped for bikes with the bobbins:

Only down side is the sliding handle has come loose. I woul dhave preferred a 1 piece design.

Generally paddock stands are universal (with a few exceptions like single sided swingarms), so you should be fine with any.

Two options, either do this:

Or drill your swingarm, fit rivnuts and bolt bobbins into those. Benefit of that is that you can use them to remove your wheel.
