Hi folks, I made the mistake of taking my kwak out for a short test last week because it had not been run for a few months. but the bike kept cutting out when i opened the throttle in 3rd gear but the Chain was a bit slack and jumping but still thought it would be ok till it is MOT this week, anyway only doing 5mph and the chain snapped a good chain is a life saver so my question is which chain is the best I know D.I.D. IS GOOD BUT MY BUDGET IS NOT HAHA SO I BOUGHT A choho CHAIN , FROM EBAY BUT IT DID NOT STATE THE MAKE BUT WOULD FIT MY BIKE TROUBLE IS NOW i KNOW ITS A cHOHO ARE THEY RELIABLE AND SAFE. (sorry for the caps button ..the key board is slightly hidden under my desk and didnt realise its on. |

The answer to your question is very subjective. A heavy duty o-ring chain from a known make will be the answer. So, EK, DID, Regina, Afam, Ognibene.
I've had a budget chain from wemoto recently, a Swift. Seems to be holding out ok so far.
Never heard of a choho. Keep a careful eye on it. Inspect and check tension before each ride. Watch for cracks in the side plates around the pins. If it seems to be going slack repeatedly/quickly, be suspicious. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |

Thanks for reply , I have had a chinese bike back in 2008 and it was the worst bike , not wanting to make same mistake with Chinese parts i am not really happy that its Choho not much reviews but seeing as I live on a tight budget it may have to do for now. you here about cheap replicas but next chain will be DID. |
