Hello everyone,

I bought myself a Honda NSR 125 this weekend. The bike was born in 1997 Smile. After a good old maintenance on the bike i started the engine and i noticed it was restricted.
So after alot of reseacrh i now know the problem is my cdi and my power valve control?
Cdi mounted is a CI 639 and the pv 124.
I managed to get my hands on a tv 74. I also ordered the wrong cdi (626A). Now i'm wondering if i cut the shunt on my 639 cdi, will it work with the pv74 power valve control? Because it seems impossible to get a CI626 Sad.
I'm sorry for my bad English, but i'm not native English. (Old and dutch speaking)
All help is welcome.

Hi, check out https://www.125ccsportsbikes.com/

There's a guy in the Honda forum called Alains (think he's form France, he has a wealth of knowledge and documents to download to help you de-restrict your old girl.

I had an NSR 125RK for my first road bike, loved it!
