Hello!
My Yamaha YBR 125 has now for a few weeks stopped working entirely. At first it was the odd dying on me around street corners or fiddling with the ignition to get it to start up but now its as if its had the electrics ripped out.
I thought it might have been the battery and fuse but after making sure the battery was charged and changing the fuse I still can't get it to start :S
I'm hoping its just something I can sort out at home because I really don't have the money right now to get the bike repaired. And if the electricals are needing replacing they'll charge me an arm and a leg for the parts.
My last service costed me nearly 300 just for a clutch cable and general service maintenance back in March and I don't have that or more lying around right now.
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Sounds like the ignition switch needs checking,
has anybody tried to steal this bike and damage the switch?
Any lights working when switching on?

Whaaaaat?

Jeez I'm working way too sodding cheap

Anyway

Don't fiddle with wires hoping for the best.
Get or buy a meter, it really is a must have item
you can get a wee yellow one for a few quid if you must but I'd suggest spending a bit more

I don't really know too much about motorbikes and I'll have to take a look at these meters.
And yeah the bike is hooked up to the battery properly

""""And yeah the bike is hooked up to the battery properly""""
How do you know?
Only a multimeter will let you know!
