The essence of the (latest) court case is Trump committed fraud and to commit fraud Trump has had to have known he lost the election fair and square. The point is the election was rigged just not in the way Trump thought it was at the time.

At the end of the day TDS has to be really bad if even a senile child molester could be a preferred candidate Rolling Eyes

There’s talk of not allowing Biden to stand again since he’s clearly suffering from dementia. Trump isn’t much younger, incidentally. I think Trump’s term in office embarrassed and disappointed a small but significant portion of his saner voters, and Biden would/will suffer the same fate.

No, the essence of his current indictment is that he conspired against the lawful transfer of power to a new president. What he believed is irrelevant, he conspired to create alternate electors and conspired to try and prevent the elector collage's votes being counted.

But if he truly believed the election was stolen it would be his duty fight against the unlawful transfer of power.

How many times has some dodgy businessman invested the company pension pot, lost the lot and argued it was all done in good faith? I'm not suggesting such a defence is successful only that it's not as cut and dried as the lawyers would have you believe.

In other news Trump has appealled directly to the supreme court to have it dropped. The suprume court, which is heavily weighted conservative, refuses to respond. This is what they do when a request is completely without merit.
