For the next motorcycle, all you have to do is to guess the manufacturer. Bonus karma points for the one who'll figure out what model it is.

Bohmerland/cechie.

Mid-late 1920s, the cast wheels were the giveaway as these were the first to use them iirc.

We have a winner, this particular model is the 600 Super Sport (you got the right picture). Böhmerland also made a three seater motorcycle, which was very unusual and would be even more today.

Also, lads, look at where the intake valve is.

They used a GPz for that, didn't they? Many were trying to replicate the success Bimota had with their machines.

That reminds of what was said of the first CBR1000:

Suzuki GSX750. Maybe the 11, but I think the speedo might have been demarcated higher on the 11.

I even made a exhaust for the GPz550, that I had, that resembled what those bikes used, including the mighty roar. I even started to use ear plugs when riding. Razz

A lot of people won't understand this, but it's why I love my big, heavy Fazer 1000. It has the same vibe as those old bikes in some ways. I actually like to have to get a bit physical to ride fast. It makes it all seem that I'm more involved, a more important part of the equation. And it's also probably why I don't like all the modern tech - it all seems to insulate you from the heart of it all a bit. Give me raw! Very Happy

Yeah, I bet that sounded good, especially on the higher revving 550.

The amount of fun I had on it, shame I couldn't keep the good times roll back then. There was no Ebay in my country, this motorcycle has never been sold here, so spare parts were rare and expensive and I had no steady income back then. I pretty much sold it, because I was lacking the skills and money.

Also, that exhaust (GPz) was about the time I started to blip the throttle on downshifts and every single blip just made me smile and I have never stopped doing it, even in cars. The excessive loudness of the exhaust also ment people were aware I was on the road, which made things nice and safe. The annoying part was when I went for a ride, I always had to push it to the next street and start it there, some neighbors on my street had complaints about noise. Laughing

Also what inspired me, back then at least: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9oGLBguVAw
Those flat slide carbs are still on my wishlist.

EDIT: I even made a comment there, in Japanese
