That Gilera was a cracking looking bike, I bet it would be a hoot to ride.

Anyway, next..............

I knew it was a FT the moment Polarbear had his doubts, but I thought they made FT 250, not 500, that's why I could not find a picture of it.

Always fancied one, got rave reviews at the time, but self destructing starter clutches were a major turnoff.

(Edit) that's actually a 400, but we didn't get them over here.

These have a special place in my memory. back in the 80's..

I went to a breakers outside Glasgow to sell him a gamma gearbox, and after shootin the breeze for a bit the boss went to the shops for lunch on a FT500.

He ragged the arse off it from cold, redlined it all the way there and back. When he got back he looked at the bike in disgust and said ''Why won't you fucking die you horrible cunt'' the memory never fades Laughing Laughing

Pretty distinctive looking bike, especially that rear light.

I can't ever remember seeing one, did they sell it over here?

Yes, that is a KR 250 and I do believe this was a JDM only machine.

However, the KR1S has been sold on the UK and European market.
