That's the best i've got .
It's a grab from a quick flyby caught on a Gopro.
Original was very dark so it's been lightened... and potatoed.

I realise it's a long shot.. guessing headlights aren't original. Guessed it was just a Bandit but rear grab rail doesn't match up.

possibly a slightly modified Suzuki. Could also be a Honda tho, no idea I'm just clutching at bags of ball bearings.

Some Bandits (later ones?) have a single grab rail across the top like that one. The fork guards look like ZX6/9 ones.

The grab rail reminds me of that of an early SV650. But there's a fair bit non-standard going on there, whatever bike it is, as well as being a poor picture, so hard to say. Bandit was my first thought too, but I wouldn't lay any bets on either of those two.

On second thoughts, deffo not an SV650 frame.

Definitely wasn't an SV650
I ride one.
It had the staight lower edge of tank with narrowish tubular straight section of frame that runs along the underside of the tank like a Bandit. The rest looked non-bandit though. Fairly sure it was an IL4 judging by the sound.

it looks like it could be several different bikes, the colour scheme if original reminds me of some 90s kwaks.

I thought it looked like a black, beam frame, so if not it could be partly Fazer 600. Is that a 'three tuning forks' badge on the tank?

Hornet 600? Grabrail looks right, and explains why rear looks squat.

If you're certain about the tubular frame then my guess would be a first gen fzs600 that's been involved in a big front end crash at some point.

I reckon the forks, or at the very least the front mudguard, is off of a thundercat.

The grab rail could easily be a rentec sport rack.

The frame looks to me like a Yamaha sports bike with the fairing removed.

A black version of this...

I agree that it looks more like an aluminium chunky frame rather than tubular steel

If it is a tubular then this bit:

https://cdn.bcf.44bytes.net/files/img_20180827_100615.png

I suspect is the silver valve covers from the fzs engine. But it looks a bit high really.

Front mudguard looks like a ZX6R, J1 era.

Would assume rest of the bike is the same.

As soon as I saw that h/lamp set-up with the cheap cowl, I knew it was time to assume nothing Laughing

Grab rail is totally different.

Shame the frame has been painted black.

No way, it's not a Bandit, it has a black Ally beam frame with ram air ducts. It's A mid to late 90's era Kwak sportsbike. Just look at the mudguard, tailpiece, tank, frame etc.

I think it's a G-J model ZX6R streetfighter with an aftermarket grab rail.

Even the colours are right.

Shocked Shocked FK me!, the first thing I’m gonna do when I get home is check my garage to make sure my bike is still there!
For a split second I genuinely thought that was my bike Smile

It's absolutely no doubt a ninja front end - zx6r or 9r. The mudguard lower cowls are very distinctive and unmistakable. I would put good money on it being a ninja frame as well. So far then, a fightered ninja, C or C2, very late '90s 9 or 6. But the subframe, dunno what's gone on there. That's a brain hurter. Probably as MarJay says though it's just the non-oem grab rail that's throwing the eye.

Post the video so we can try to pick out some other details on the bike. Thumbs Up

Lots of parts on the ZX6R from 98 to 02 (G and J models) were interchangeable with parts from the 99 to 01 ZX9R. (C and E models). [exact models of the ZX9R might be slightly different Laughing)
