hi all. im looking to fit a tracker to my fz6n but not sure what type of tracker is best, BikeTrac or Automatrics. they are both similarly priced (i think), Automatrics's website makes it look like a cheap product! if anyone has any experience with any of these companies please share them as i need to get one asap!

also if anyone has experience fitting trackers to an fz6n could recommend a place to put it please let me know, thanks Very Happy

BikeTrac would be the only one I'd consider. There have been various threads on here from happy BikeTrac customers who had their bikes quickly and successfully recovered.

When it's not 0330, I'll find you some links to the threads. Thumbs Up

I had my bike nicked in Amsterdam last week, had it back within two hours thanks to Biketrac. It would have been faster if I hadn’t been asleep when they started phoning and texting me.

Never heard of Automatrics either but there are other systems available. But Biketrac is the only one I would recommend from now on.

I have a Biketrac tracker on both my bikes. It is *very* reassuring to know exactly where one's motorbike is and they are very quick to call up and check if everything is ok in case the bike is moved when turned off.

My main use of my bikes is commuting and considering the bike crime one hears about I think a tracker is essential if your bike is even a little bit desirable... if that makes sense.

After reading this thread I decided to get a tracker fitted to my new Honda scoot. Bike has been ordered but not collecting until next week so phoned the dealer and was told that Honda are now fitting Datatool Trakking Adventure to all new bikes, free of charge. You then have to pay the monthly subs of around £10.

Oddly enough, it appears that you have to request them to fit one otherwise they don't and they wont retro-fit for free if you go back later.
