Hello, I am so furious right now. Second time now that a component has been stolen from my bike! Last time it was the PGM-FI Unit, cost me a lot to replace it, almost 1/3 the value of the whole bike!

Can someone please help me identify if it is the same part that is missing? I am trying to turn on the bike but it's not doing it.

It is a Honda CBF 125M, 2011 if I remember correctly. The left side cover was stripped off. I don't want to take it again to the dealer since they charge a lot to replace the thing, I might be able to do it myself if it's just something to plug in to.

That looks like a ECM/CDI connection, and a quick look on eBay says about £50.
On a lot of bikes it needs pairing with the key, and that's where Honda might need to get involved.

Not sure on specifics for your bike, there will be info on how to change the CDI for your bike on the net.

Dirt bike with a stolen component that prevents the owner from starting it means I'd probably move it to a garage, or a fellow family members house, before they come back fitting the part and pushing it away.

My LM Arrow had side panels that you could pull away by hand and lord am I glad I got rid of it before this theft malarkey became what it is today. Tiddlers are far too easy to get ahold of by design.

I'd consider flogging it on as "stolen recovered" and or "in need of repair" to someone who wants to fork the money out.

You've been seen, twice, and they probably wont stop until its burnt out in a park.

Not much help, mind, but you've got a magnet.

I'm afraid it looks like they've done it again

Strange that you don't recall which part went missing last time, nor what year the bike is.

If the ECM or whatever you want to call it has been nicked for a second time I'd check eBay/Gumtree for someone selling locally. Go round, punch them in the nose.

Or the cynical side says....

I've nicked this bike, but a thoughtful owner had removed a important part... Which I need help to identify....

If so, punch yourself in the nose.
