Thanks for the advanced lesson in the blatantly obvious, I can see you have had some college.
But... You wouldn't be yet another forum spamming twat would you? I'll give you a spam rating anyway, just to be sure.

I don't usually wander into New Bikers but that name did attract me in.

Glad I came into this thread I was going to use SandD as they're the only place near me that do ultrasonic cleaning. What did they do to your bike dude?

Street bikes are good for long rides. Fully faired bikes are usually race track bikes designed and optimised for performance and aerodynamics. With street bikes you can easily go through narrow roads. Things like wind protection and wind noise are not big deals.

yes and no at the exact same time.

The ZZR600 is a sports tourer, it is designed for long distance riding, comfortably but with the ability to embarrass larger bikes on track.

I had one as my first big bike, used it daily to commute and could get it through surprisingly small gaps in traffic and narrow twisty lanes.

in answer to the first question about wind, I got knocked off it, smashing the windscreen and the front fairing above the headlight and rode it like that for a couple of days, I felt the wind on my upper body more (obviously) but it wasn't too bad (my commute is 90% motorway) once I got used to it.

A fairing is more comfortable on a long motorway journey in wet and windy conditions, especially in winter.

My current bike only has a top fairing so my legs feel the wind a bit more, but again, I've got used to it.
