The first series of Catweazel is still funny and being mostly set on a farm doesn't look too dated.

Catweazel actor only died recently, but young Carrot went at quite a young age.

For a brief period at the end of the 80s, ITV and C4 were experimenting with all night telly.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_Network#Early_experiments

TVS started something called Late Night Late and I used to like watching that.

The wikipedia article is a bit feeble, as it doesn't list content, but it all seemed a bit surreal at the time. In the small hours Prisoner Cell Block H , followed by Captain Scarlet, and then some obscure movie I'd never seen, and then Get Stuffed which was a weird cooking show, and some really out there music show.

It was all linked together by an anchor, who had bags under their eyes drawn on by makeup.

Happy Days.
Cool

I still can't get over that Ron Howard is better known nowadays as a director, than an actor.

He'll always be goofy Ritchie Cunningham to me Laughing
(and Opie from The Andy Griffith Show, before that)

Dad's army, still funny after all these years.

Elizabeth R with Glenda Jackson (when she was a good actress, not a bad politician). If you like historical docudrama this was and still is one of the best along with the Six Wives of Henry VIII with Keith Mitchell.

Magpie.

Yep, True Entertainment channel, no longer showing the Avengers but they might show it again some day. They are running The New Avengers at the moment for the second time. One channel worth keeping an eye on.

Me too!! All of those. It's part of why I like GTA online so much. Should see level 500 this next week. Cool

Amongst my huge collection of GTA vehicles
(built up gradually since 2013).

A team van.
Knightrider.
Flying Delorean from Back to the future 3.
Street Hawk style flying rocket bike.
Batmobile.
Underwater Lotus from Spy who loved me.
Airwolf looking heli that is best with a gunner co pilot.
Dukes of Hazzard 69 Charger looking thing.

Best game ever. Laughing I don't know how Rockstar get away with ripping off such iconic vehicle images. Will post some pics
if anyone wants to have a look.

I watched the Prisoner for the first time back in the 80's when it was shown on Channel Four, taped it, loved it and understood it.

One show that had me totally baffled was Sapphire and Steel...

Anything with Noel Edmonds is best forgotten.
The Monkees you say? Hmm. Only tracks I liked were "Last Train To Clarksville" and "Stepping Stone". The latter of which I don't have to subject myself to anymore since finding the Sex Pistols version Smile
