Piaggio NRG mc3 2001 50cc rear shock absorber

I went to my local Piaggio trader store... he said it's £90 for the part and £120 for them to fix it (aswell as the part) - sound about right?

Have a good look around bike breakers to see if you pick one up second hand for less money.

Look at www.scooterzonetuning.co.uk for pattern parts or www.ve-uk.com and go to the supermarket. It's available for 60 quid + del and i reckon somebody compotent can install it for you at a charge (or for free). I take it you had the same problem as me then, the rear shock is leaking oil everywhere and there is no damping? I kept running too wide at roundabouts at the usual speeds that i take them at, so i eventually decided to sell - already spent about 600 quid on servicing and repairs over its 4 years in my family's life.

But yeah, try these websites or if not E-bay (although i suspect they may also be sold because it's faulty). Hope i've been of some help

40 quid from rtt moto, 01226 743287 thats wer i got mine for the typhoon to get it thru the mot last month, not hard to fit it conneects below to the battery and obviouslt by the engine DIY !
