Evening campers.

Job for those of you that like finding hard to find things on the tinterweb...

A website in the 90s/00s called applebelly existed and had thousands of photos from nights out and clubbing.

It (according to Google) got taken over by some company (first leisure?) Who then went bump.

I'm trying to find out what happened to all those photos.

I worked for First Leisure from '96 for around 10 years.

Applebelly.com was always owned by FLC, it was just a name chosen to make it sound more modern.

There used to be a fair few photos, but once the venues designed their own sites (which were infinitely better) they used them for uploading the photos to.

It a while a go so memory maybe playing tricks on me, but I believe Applebelly was just left to die it's own death and wasn't actually sold off or anything.

Once FLC went into receivership for the last time around '06, I think Luminar Leisure took their decent venues, who have since gone themselves.

Apart from archives around the web, i would say getting any of the photos it pretty much impossible now.
