The MOT history is more colourful than what rate-driver.co.uk shows. Laughing

On the 9th of August this year, it failed on a few thing:

Repair immediately (major defects):
Battery insecure and likely to cause a short circuit (4.13 (a) (ii))
Offside Front Anti-roll bar linkage ball joint dust cover no longer prevents the ingress of dirt (5.3.4 (b) (ii))
Nearside Steering locking device missing track rod end (2.1.3 (d))
Nearside Inner Drive shaft joint constant velocity boot split or insecure, no longer prevents the ingress of dirt (6.1.7 (g) (ii))
Nearside Front Tyre has a cut in excess of the requirements deep enough to reach the ply or cords (5.2.3 (d) (i))

Repair as soon as possible (minor defects):
Brake fluid warning lamp illuminated (1.1.10 (f))

Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):
Brake fluid close to minimum mark (1.1.10 (d) (ii))
offside rear tyre wearing thin on inner edge
offside front tyre worn completely bald on inner edge and about to split, advise replacement asap

As luck would have it, it got an almost clean bill of health later the same day with just an advisory about the offside rear tyre.
