I use SW Motech Evo Daypack which has the Quick-Lock tank ring system, it's 5L but can expand to 9L.

It was pricey, but it's decent quality and in my experience their customer service is top notch.

Just been given a Lomo waterproof tank bag to review for my blog. Seemed pretty decent, except my wife's pinched it so i haven't had chance to use it much myself... They've a magnetic variant or one with a clip on pad you zip to. Doubles up as ruck sack too. Roll top affair like their dry bags. Doesn't have much structure, doesn't hold shape much, though not too much of an issue. Big enough to store what you want, but can get in way slightly when you turn full lock, wife keeps hitting horn with it!

thanks, both of those look pretty decent tbh and could fit what I need in them, might try and find a shop which stocks them to have a look in person, I did try a tail bag but it got in the way as I wear a rucksack too with my work stuff in it

I have a US-10 tail bag but wasn't big enough for what I needed, with the rok straps do you reckon I could just use a standard sports bag and strap it down on the back of my bike? cbr f4i

Dunno really. When I had my CBR6F I quite liked the Givi magnetic bag I had. It split into two, top and bottom, and was then expandable. That made it pretty versatile.

It also had a clear plastic front cover which meant I could keep a map / written directions in front of me.

It was a piece of cake to attach - in reality it didn't need the headstock strap. It didn't damage the tank at all.

It was also a piece of cake to fill up still, you just lift it up and swing it over a bit, fill up and remount.

If I still had a bike with a metal tank I'd still have a tank bag.
