Hi all,
Today i decided it was time to put the wee tdr back together.
Easy i thought, just refit the plastics, fuel tank & a couple of bulbs.
Problem? I have forgot which hose goes where, at the tap & tank Embarassed
I did take pics with this fancy new fone but technology has got the better of me as i can no longer find the relevant pics (that'll teach me as masking tape and a biro usually suffices)
So im now at the confused stage & the more i think about it, the more confused im getting.
Help?

The fuel tank has 2 connections (helpfully not marked) with a small hose coming off 1 of them but i don't know where the other end goes...

The fuel tap has 3 connections marked '0' '1' and '2'
Theres a hose coming off '2' but dont know where the other end goes...

The carb has 1 main fuel line, but i dont know where the other end goes.

Anyone care to advise?
I'd attach pics but havnt figured out how to make them small enough Embarassed

cheers,
GAZ

I have never seen a fuel tap with 3 connections marked '0' '1' and '2'.
I have seen a fuel tap with a pipe going to the carb and a vacuum pipe going to the carb inlet manifold.
I have seen a tap with 3 positions as in on.off. and pri.

Hi,
Maybe the 1st 2 things your referring to are same thing?
Fuel tap has 3 positions on FRONT marked 'ON' 'OFF" & 'RESERVE '.
There are 2 connections on the right & 1 on top (maybe the vacuum pipe?)
but on the BACK of the fuel tap, the 3 connections are marked 0, 1 & 2 (this being the top one)

That make it any clearer?

cheers,
GAZ

Neither....
From the front it looks like the 2nd pic.
Bur when you take the tap off the bike & look at it from the reverse, it looks a bit like the 1st pic as it DOES have 3 connections

But sussed it anyway Very Happy

Theres a lot to be said for just walking away & going back to it with a clear mind.
Once i approached it in a more....simplistic way, it all came together.
There was really only 1 way it would go, based on the length of the hoses (f*ck the theory behind it all which i was initially trying to get my head round)

cheers,
