I’m looking for a little help. Through my own stupid fault I’ve managed to crush one of the rear wheel adjusters and need to find a new one. Nothing listed on the AJS site and they’ve never replied to my email enquiry.

I’ve found this: https://www.chinesemotorcyclepartsonline.co.uk/partno_CHNADJ005

Which looks virtually identical, but does it have to be identical? I’d rather buy ones with better quality cylinders so I can’t crush it again.

Any advice?

Many thanks!

Post a pic of your original one.

Can't you use mechanical persuasion/a bit of tube and fix it?

You know what I never thought of that. Just pad round each side of the tube so it doesn’t crush further. Will get some steel cut to the right size and wedge it in.

Thanks for the idea!
