You weren't.

We do the majority of our trade outside of the EU, mainly under WTO rules anyway. The EU doesn’t want outside competition, GEUrmany just wants to flog it’s shit to us with no competition.

HTH.

We do the majority of OUR trading/selling/exporting, however you want to call it, outside of the EU, mainly under WTO already.

https://www.worldstopexports.com/united-kingdoms-top-import-partners/

54.4% of exports ( by value) are to EU countries, a small majority but a majority non the less.
Of greater interest are the changes, US trade fell by 5% in 2016 ( the latest available figures, I believe but will accept correction), that is a heck of a lot monetarily from the UK's largest sole trading export destination.
France and Turkey, on the other hand, recorded a significant increase, along with SK.

Around 40% of exports go to the EU, but only because the policy currently favours trading with the EU. The 55% figure is inaccurate as it includes the "Amsterdam effect" where goods exported from the UK via the EU to a final destination which is outside the EU are claimed as an "export to the EU". Furthermore, deal or no deal, the UK is going to continue to export to the EU, and the EU is going to continue to export to the UK, despite what tin foil hat remoaners like to claim. Then again, remoaners claimed that leaving the EU means a world war, so the tin foil hat is strong with them.

I suspect your link is either using 10 year old figures or was researched with a pro Eu agenda.

His figures include exports shipped via Amsterdam.

Laughing The Scottish are a thrifty bunch, and do hate anything remotely related to the English. Now if it said "Made in Scotland" on it.....

Joking aside, there is a notable lack of pride in manufacturing in this country, unlike the US. Go on any US based forum, whether it's for guns, bikes, motors, woodworking etc, and there's always a bias toward Made in USA when discussing products. The only time I've really seen that on this forum is Hood Jeans who were also offering great service, product and price.

Yet you remain the gobbiest, loudest, nastiest, childish, poster on the forum, incessantly moaning, constantly accusing others of the traits which you, amply, display, day after day, month after month, year after year, constantly whinging and whining about how crap other people are making your life.

In your opinion as a nasty champagne socialist programmed to hate anyone right of centre....

It's noticeable that you've not, actually, denied any of it, unfortunately your posting history, bears out everything I've said, so you'd only be pissing on your own chips!

Strange how you love throwing out snide insults, constantly, yet when the tables are turned you run away, blubbering, to the karma button, pathetic!

Exactly like you do, constantly!

You just can't help yourself, anyone who has an opposing view to yours has to put up with your childish, snide, insults, absolutely pathetic!

Dry your eyes and run along to the karma button!
