Speeding and dangerous/reckless driving aren't necessarily the same thing, doing a wheelie past a school with kids around is dangerous/reckless regardless of speed.

Also my guess if that he was filming his dash/speedo which was used for the evidence against him.

My point was you can't, without doubt, determine speed from normal footage alone (without dash), as this could have been altered at any point.

Umm.. As I recall his riding was spirited but not psychopathic and he didn't film his speedo. There might have been one or two low wheelies... I can't remember. I think the thread was deleted due to the legal ramifications? Not sure.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

As is said so often - lowest fruit on the tree.

One dangerous potential kitten killer caught = 1 drug supplier on a stolen moped who got away. Rolling Eyes

The police can and have prosecuted people by timing vehicles between measured points on the road. If the card hasn't been removed from the camera it can't have been edited, so if the police pull you over while recording there is a decent chance they can argue in court that it's unedited. Even then, a video expert would be able to tell you it's been edited. There are free tools on the internet that can tell you that.

Video is pretty good at timing things, as it's a fixed number of frames per second.
