Tesco petrol station in Baldock.
The resulting pile up was biblical.

that petrol station, I meet up there for trail rides sometimes, I walked to Tesco once to buy some snacks and use the loo. It's sooooo far away, it was an expedition.

Not a breakdown more dumbfuker.
I went into the prepaid lane on Dartford bridge. Of course I had no prepay/transponder on the bike. As it is free to ride over on a bike. The barrier didn't know that. Some prick in a hiviz eventually came over to let me through. He made the mistake of starting off a lecture. I had rode down from hull that morning and was in no fkinung mood for that.
There was a queue of poor fuckers who had innocently followed the Scottish Edjit into tbe toll gate. I lifted my visor and shouted at hiviz to just open the fucking gate ya prick. He opened it and continued with his rant as I waved past him. 😁

Running out of fuel on the M5 in the outside lane wasn't much fun.

Audi's cam chain tensioner failed on Penn Inn roundabout, Newton Abbot, back in the days when it didn't have a flyover but at least it had traffic lights. That bloody roundabout featured in all my driving tests (car, bike and hgv) and was a complete bastard for all of them, that was before the lights went in.

Central Motorway, Newcastle. The section that's all enclosed beneath and down to two lanes and during rush hour - on my old Suzuki T250.
Managed to push to a slightly safer part of the road and fix it - the bike had one fuse which had blown so I twisted the wires together to get me out of that hell hole.

Snapped cam belt, Cavalier SRi, 4th lane of four, rush hour, M8, deep joy!
The Polis, dragged the car off the motorway, and the AA fitted a new cam belt at the roadside, cheaper than a garage!

For those about to call b/s, the 1.8 litre SRi was the non interference engine, if I'd had the 2 litre version it would have been game over.
